As we near the end of our relationship with Generations, I’d like to say a big THANK YOU for all that your whole team has done for our family. To the caregivers, you all became part of the family and made Dad’s life richer, more comfortable, and safer. You truly made a difference and we will miss you. Your work matters!! To the office staff, Cheryl, Jessica, Rachael, Ellen and Jeff, thank you for your concern and caring. Your immediate response when we needed you was such a relief and from then on we felt you had our backs and truly cared for Dad and the family. We were blessed to have been steered your way. We will never forget what you all meant to our family. THANK YOU!!

Caregivers you can trust in McKinney, TX
At Generations Home Care, we have all had personal experience with the care of our aging parents. We know how important it is to trust and feel comfortable with the caregiver who comes into your home. During the hiring process, we work to vet our caregivers based on character, work experience, and references. Ultimately, we do our best to only hire caregivers who we would trust to care for our own parents. If, at any time during your relationship with Generations Home Care, you have concerns about the person who is caring for you, we will address it immediately. We want our clients to feel comfortable with us, as a company, and with their home care providers. We truly want you to form a lifelong friendship with your caregiver.

We are often asked how we vet our care providers. Our process is thorough, and every prospective employee goes through the following during hiring:
- Phone screen
- In-person or virtual interview
- Reference check
- Name and date of birth background check
- Employee Misconduct Registry and Nurse Aide Registry search, by name and Social Security number
- Skills training during orientation
- Nine hours of continuing education each year
We comply with all federal and state regulations. Our McKinney office is licensed by Texas Health and Human Services as a Home and Community Support Services Agency, license #024759. Texas does not require a state certification for personal care caregivers, so every caregiver is screened, trained and held to the standard we hold ourselves to in every office.
