What Does In-Home Senior Care Include?
Generations Home Care offers senior services that are aimed at keeping seniors engaged in their favorite activities and able to live independently with just the right amount of assistance.

Personal & Specialized Care
In-home senior care that helps older adults stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home. We build a non-medical care plan around each family, with no minimum hours.
Respectful, hands-on personal care with bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and mobility, delivered with dignity by caregivers we would trust with our own parents.
Dementia & Alzheimer’s Care
Patient memory care at home for dementia and Alzheimer's. Our caregivers provide gentle routines, a familiar presence, and a calm, safe space so your loved one stays comfortable.
Respite care that gives family caregivers a real break. From an hour to a few weeks, we step in so your loved one is well cared for while you rest.
24-Hour Care
Around-the-clock care for any hour of the day. Our caregivers cover days, evenings, overnights, and weekends, with an on-call team your family can always reach.
Companionship & Home Support
Companionship
Companionship that eases isolation, with conversation, shared activities, errands, and a familiar, friendly face, so loneliness is not part of your loved one's day.
Help with meal preparation and grocery shopping, planned around your loved one's tastes and dietary needs, and shared as good company at the table.
Medication Reminders
Friendly, non-medical medication reminders that help your loved one take the right medication at the right time. We prompt the routine and flag any concerns to family.
Light housekeeping that keeps the home safe and comfortable, from laundry and dishes to tidying and taking out the trash, so your loved one stays proud of their home.
Transportation
Friendly rides for transportation and errands, from appointments and the pharmacy to church and social outings, so getting there is never the hard part.
Staying Active
Encouragement to keep moving and engaged, from a simple walk to gentle exercises, at whatever pace protects your loved one's strength and independence.
Help feeding, walking, and caring for a beloved pet, so seniors keep the companionship and daily routine they love without leaving home.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I don’t like my caregiver?
Finding a good fit is important. If you feel your caregiver isn’t a good fit for any reason, let us know and we’ll find a replacement quickly.
Is there a minimum requirement of hours?
We do not have a minimum of hours. Usually, shifts longer than 4-5 hours are easier to staff, but we recognize everyone’s needs are different. We offer shifts from 1 hour to 72 hours long! Our rates are higher for shorter shifts, as we pay our caregivers a premium for those lengths of time.
Is there a long-term commitment?
There is no long term commitment. You can cancel a shift or the entire agreement with 24 hour notice.
How do I pay for this?
Care is an hourly based fee. We pay our care staff as W-2 employees. You’ll receive a bill twice a month from our office and you can pay any way you’d like. Most of our clients pay out of pocket, but many use long-term care insurance, VA assistance, or a combination of payment methods. You can see our “How do I pay for this?” resource for more information!
