Team Member of the Month: September

My name is Leigh and I’ve been involved in eldercare for over 20 years. I first started caring for church elders and, while working with them, I realized that I enjoyed the work. Providing in home care became my passion after working eight years in a rehabilitation center.

The best part of my job doesn’t just come from knowing my clients, though I enjoy hearing their stories–it comes from receiving gratitude for a job well done. It shows me that I’m making a difference no matter how small the task.

My goal in life is to be the best person I can be to all people.

I have three young men as children and six grandchildren. If I could teach any of them a lesson, it would be to invest in their future–to think big, but start small. I want to teach them to never say never, because only they can control their future.
