Team Member of the Month: August

My name is Jackie and I started working as a care provider seven years ago. My first client was a lady who was in the late stages of Alzheimer’s disease. By the time she passed, I learned that I loved providing care and I decided to make it my career.

I feel great satisfaction when I help people and I’m a nurturer at heart. I have five kids of my own and recently received full custody of my three little nieces, one of whom has autism. I always do my best to provide the care that I’d want for myself or family–no matter the situation, disability, or health problem. I hope to become a nurse one day, but for now I feel that I’m where I should be in my career as a caregiver.
