GHC was the third service provider I have used. By far, they have been the best. Caregiver service, communications with office, schedule flexibility to meet my needs -- all aspects of the company have been top notch. Thank you GHC. I highly recommend.

Meet the Tacoma Team
Ellen
Administrator
Ellen joined the Generations Home Care team in 2023 as the Client Relations Manager in our Spokane office. She transitioned to be the Administrator of our Tacoma office in 2025. When she is not at work, Ellen is most likely talking on the phone with her nieces or attempting to learn a new recipe. Ellen’s favorite core value of Generations is “fun”, as she believes wholeheartedly that sharing a laugh with those around you can solve most problems.

Spencer
Client Onboarding
If you are calling to receive information about our services, chances are high that you will talk with Spencer. Joining our team in 2025, he performs the majority of our assessments and works hard to spread information about who we are and how we can support our community. While not working, Spencer can typically be found on the golf course.

Robyn
Care Coordinator
Robyn has been part of the Generations team since 2024 and has been a wonderful addition. She deeply cares about what we do and demonstrates this through being hands on in her work with clients. Robyn's kind and joyful personality is contagious throughout the office. A fun fact about Robyn is that her favorite animal is a hippo.

MeKade
Administrative Assistant
MeKade started with Generations in 2025 and is most likely the first voice you will hear if you call our office. She is warm and welcoming, as well as detail oriented and a skilled organizer. While not at work, MeKade is most likely reading one of the 500 books she owns or mastering her accounting classes.

Joie
Payroll and Billing Specialist
Joie began her journey with Generations Home Care at our Bremerton office in 2024. She has worn many hats over the years. In 2025, she stepped into the role of running billing and payroll for both the Bremerton and Tacoma offices. Joie is appreciated for her ability to juggle multiple tasks. The team also appreciates how great Joie is at making cookies!

Shanna
HCA Trainer
Shanna has been with Generations since 2019 and currently runs our Home Care Aide certification program. She has a passion for training caregivers and making sure they have the confidence they need to perform high quality care. Shanna is the office's plant mom and designated crafting expert.

Chasedy
HR Specialist
Chasedy began with Generations as a caregiver. She now manages supervisory visits, caregiver reviews, and all things compliance. Chasedy believes Halloween should exist multiple times a year and, while not working, she can be found enjoying the outdoors with her family. We are grateful for Chasedy's devotion to home care and constant positive attitude.

Hector
HR Specialist
Hector started with Generations as our administrative assistant in 2022. He transitioned into HR in 2025 and now takes the lead on hiring our care team. Hector is fluent in Spanish, plays the viola, and brings a smile to every room he is in.

Stephani
Care Coordinator
Stephani brought her cheerful demeanor to Generations Home Care in 2023. Stephani is always eager to help and provide assistance to those around her. She is typically accompanied by her furry friend, Greta, and can be found cheering on the Seattle Thunderbirds hockey team.

Ashley
Care Coordinator
Ashley has been with Generations since 2023. She has an extensive skill set and does an excellent job making sure our clients and caregivers have what they need to succeed. In her free time, Ashley can be found hosting her friends and family at her home or mastering her CPR skills (she is a certified instructor!).

Rachel
HR Supervisor
Rachel began with Generations in 2019. She is an excellent problem solver, devoted team member, and good human. Rachel currently supervises our HR Specialists and assists with hiring. She works remotely from Florida (We are convinced it is so she can go to Disney at a moment's notice).

Our Caregivers
At Generations Home Care, we have all had personal experience with the care of our aging parents. We know how important it is to trust and feel comfortable with the caregiver who comes into your home. During the hiring process, we work to vet our caregivers based on character, work experience, and references. Ultimately, we do our best to only hire caregivers who we would trust to care for our own parents. If, at any time during your relationship with Generations Home Care, you have concerns about the person who is caring for you, we will address it immediately. We want our clients to feel comfortable with us, as a company, and with their home care providers. We truly want you to form a lifelong friendship with your caregiver.

We are often asked how we vet our care providers. Our process is thorough and every prospective employee is required to go through the following during the hiring process:
- Phone Interview
- Name and Date of Birth Background Check
- In-Person interview
- Reference Check
- Multi-day orientation and training
- Fingerprint based background check
- Continuing Education annually
We comply with all federal and state regulations and all of our staff members have the required Washington State certification. Our caregivers are either Nursing Assistant-Certified or Home Care Aid Certified. Both certifications have annual license renewals and continuing education requirements.
