Our Caregivers
At Generations Home Care, we have all had personal experience with the care of our aging parents. We know how important it is to trust and feel comfortable with the caregiver who comes into your home. During the hiring process, we work to vet our caregivers based on character, work experience, and references. Ultimately, we do our best to only hire caregivers who we would trust to care for our own parents. If, at any time during your relationship with Generations Home Care, you have concerns about the person who is caring for you, we will address it immediately. We want our clients to feel comfortable with us, as a company, and with their home care providers. We truly want you to form a lifelong friendship with your caregiver.

We are often asked how we vet our care providers. Our process is thorough and every prospective employee is required to go through the following during the hiring process:
- Phone Interview
- Name and Date of Birth Background Check
- In-Person interview
- Reference Check
- Multi-day orientation and training
- Fingerprint based background check
- Continuing Education annually
We comply with all federal and state regulations and all of our staff members have the required Washington State certification. Our caregivers are either Nursing Assistant-Certified or Home Care Aid Certified. Both certifications have annual license renewals and continuing education requirements.
