Hello, my name is Alana and I am 24 years old. I have been working as a CNA at Generations Home Care for about a year and I am very grateful to have met such wonderful people (clients and staff). Unfortunately, when I was younger, I was in and out of hospitals which put me in constant contact with RN’s and CNA’s. I envied their loving nature and flawless ability to completely make a patient’s day. From that point on I knew that I had found my dream career. I love being a CNA, but I have my heart set on going forward to become a RN.
I started working for Generations Home Care shortly after PCS’ing(permanent change of station) to Fort Lewis with my husband. Since our move, I have been able to learn the area, make new friends, and grow as a caregiver all thanks to Generations. It has been such a joy to work for a company that cares greatly for their clients as well as their employees. I look forward to working here as long as the army keeps us in Washington!
